Woodleigh is a peaceful and pretty South Hams village. The cottage sits on the village lane and there are walks from the door. Popular Watkins Wood, managed by the Woodland Trust is just up the road and you can walk to the magical River Avon, through bluebells and wild garlic in season. The Avon Mill Garden Centre is down the hill with its small boutiques and cafe. Not far away is the south west coastal path - a walkers paradise! Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes are within a 20 - 30 minute drive. The cottage is a great base to explore all the delights that South Devon has to offer.
You need a car for this location or a bike for keen cyclists. No buses go through the village. Taxis are available from Kingsbridge. The nearest mainline station is Totnes. There is excellent walking in the area and you are well placed for the South West Coastal Path.
