The property is located in a hamlet next to the Avon estuary walk which is an attractive 9 mile waymarked route that runs through farmland and woods on either side of the estuary. It is also 15 mins walk away from Bantham Beach and the Sloop Inn where you can enjoy delicious local food.

The impressive entrance hall has stairs to the first floor having feature ships carved panelling and figurehead above the front door, salvaged from the Lady Young which was wrecked in 1879 at Hope Cove.

Other things to note
West Buckland is an unspoilt large hamlet located just inland from the coast and enjoying peace and tranquillity, being away from main road traffic and set within a valley which is protected from the prevailing wind. Nearby are the better known coastal villages of Thurlestone, Bantham but also Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and the delights of the South Hams.
